Friends Reunion - Well, Not Exactly ...

NBC (USA) announced at the Television Critics Panel today that the cast of Friends will reuniting for a 2 hour special to celebrate the sitcom director James Burrows. Burrows directed many episodes of Friends including the pilot as well as episodes for other known TV series like Taxi, Cheers and The Bob Newhart Show.

Whilst the special is to celebrate Burrows, the buzz that the 6 members of the Friends cast will be together again has set the internet alight. The other hitch in the story is that the 6 members may not even be in the same room at the same time. “I’m hoping all six will be in same room at same time; I’m not sure we can logistically pull it off,” NBC entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt told reporters.

At least Joey seems keen.... Matt, I mean Matt!

Like many die-hard fans of Friends, we have been holding out for a reunion special, a new mini-season (eg. The X-Files) or even a movie to see where our friends were now in life and to maybe explain some of the still unanswered questions left by the show.

We continue to dream ...
