Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage Cancels Australian Appearances.

With only a few weeks to go, Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage has cancelled his appearances at Brisbane and Adelaide Supanova Pop Culture Expo, as well as appearances in Sydney and Melbourne. The Golden Globe winning actor is set to begin filming a new project in America, and due to scheduling matters beyond his control, he is unable to attend.

“He is deeply regretful but ultimately had no choice in the matter,” stated the Supanova Facebook page.

Dinklage's Game of Thrones co-star Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), will replace him in the line-up in Supanova Brisbane and the Sydney appearance. A replacement for the Melbourne appearance and Adelaide Supanova is yet to be announced.

Fans of the HBO series will also get to see Jerome Flynn (Bronn) and Mark Addy (King Robert Baratheon) at both Supanova Brisbane and Adelaide, along with the creator of the series George R.R. Martin.

Dinklage's name is now added to other cancellations in recent weeks that include Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead) and Tom Savini (From Dusk Till Dawn/also FX Makeup Expert)

We wish Mr Dinklage good luck with the new project and hope we can see him out in Australia in the not too distant future.
